Lee Sunshine
Kallayah Henderson, creatively known as Lee Sunshine, is a mixed media artist who loves nature and sharing positivity through art; painting, illustration, and poetry. She sees art as a way to translate her feelings and thoughts into reality. Through the use of bright colors, intuitive painting, and her signature spirals, Lee has crafted a surreal world of her own.
After graduating from Florida State University in 2020 she began her career in west-side Chicago. In addition to being an artist, she is also a yoga and arts education teacher.
When she’s not making art Lee can be found hosting local art workshops, practicing & teaching yoga, enjoying the outdoors, and convening with nature.
Lovelee Beings
Lee created Lovelee Being™ as a way to share art with positive affirmations. Inspired by the work of Keith Haring, the Lovelee Being figure symbolizes the essence of love that lives within us all, those special things that make everyone unique in their own ways of being. Her motto in life is to create, express, and (be, give, receive) love. Lovelee Beings were created in light of this motto.
