Night Out In the Park

Yoga and Art in the Park, is a series of three events hosted by artist and certified yoga teacher Kallayah Lee Henderson. She, along with other yoga teachers, will provide a stress-relieving experience, allowing participants to unwind and explore their inner artist. Each event starts with a beginner friendly yoga class, centering participants for art-making through movement and meditation. Following the yoga session, participants will go through the collage-making process. This tactile art activity invites individuals to reflect on their favorite aspects of nature, translating their thoughts and feelings into visual representations. No experience is needed and all art materials will be provided! Please bring your own yoga mat to practice on.

Once a Month in July, August & September!

Yoga and Art in the Park, is presented as part of the Chicago Park District’s Night Out in the Parks series, supported by the Mayor’s Office and the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events.
